Introducing Haney Home Concierge
Today, I’m proud to announce the official launch of Haney Home Concierge! My name is Carolyn Haney, and I serve as Co-Founder and President.
My husband and I have been in Austin for 16 years, and since graduating from UT, I’ve worked in the non-profit sector for organizations promoting health and wellness. I also spend time volunteering and serving on boards with various Austin nonprofits. My passion is helping people find solutions to improve their lives.
Last summer, I turned my focus toward solving a personal problem that I know many people struggle with. That is, how can families balance their careers, kids, and personal lives effectively?
Solving For The Never-Ending Household To-Do List
As a mom trying to manage a busy household with my husband and three active children, I struggle with the pressure of multitasking. For a little while, I usually can get everything done. In the long run, though, it’s not sustainable and it’s not conducive to a healthy lifestyle. Something has to give.
Last summer, I began listing things that I wanted help with in my own life. For instance, getting to complete simple errands like dry cleaning, picking up birthday presents, decorating my house for holiday parties, and returning packages is time-consuming. Also, when my family travels out of town, finding a reliable house-sitter is difficult.
Yes, you can sometimes call a friend or family member for help with these things, but nobody likes to impose. Also, there are odd-job and quick-errand service companies, but we’ve found these services to be too impersonal, lack professionalism, and just are a short-term solution.
I saw that there was a void in Austin for a reliable and trustworthy household concierge service that built long-term relationships with its customers.
Voila, Haney Home Concierge was born!
Home Concierge Services That We Offer
For people who want occasional help, we have an a-la-carte option that is a flat hourly rate for services like errands, organizing, wrapping presents, etc.
Our “Monthly” and “On The Go” packages are for people who have a need for various tasks handled on a recurring monthly basis, or for people who leave Austin for a prolonged amount of time and want someone to manage their property in their absence
